The American Association for Health Education offers a variety of new  professional networking communities which focus on communicating and creating relationships with individuals in the health education field.

AAHE4Me is a new web site designed to provide students with a way to meet future and current health educators.  Features include: 

  • a message forum allowing undergraduate and graduate health education students to introduce themselves and meet others with similar interests

The Health & Wellness Teaching Community
  
The Health & Wellness Teaching Community offers instructors of college level personal health classes a resource for reaching out and connecting with fellow instructors across the country. The community website is provided in partnership by American Association of Health Education (AAHE) and Pearson Education and is moderated by a health educator who has coordinated a personal health course with many sections and a variety of different instructors each semester.

24/7 Access teaching tips, activities and professional resources, such as:

  • Teaching in large lecture settings Incorporating technology into the classroom
  • Guidance and strategies for new faculty or graduate teaching assistants
  • Share and post syllabi, mid-term and final exams, and more
      

AAHE on Ning 

The AAHE Ning website offers all professional members of AAHE a virtual gathering place to catch up on news, report on professional activities around the country, recognize the work and efforts of colleagues,  host committee work groups and share ideas with "special interest group" colleagues – not just at the annual convention every year.  We urge you to consider AAHE on Ning your "PPSN"  Primary professional social networking site!
