Teacher Training in Physical Activity & Physical Education
AAPAR ensures the development of our members' professional lives and careers by promoting and accrediting programs, conducting conferences and workshops, and publishing scholarly and trade journals, books and research. We offer teacher certification, teacher training, teaching activities, teaching assessments, teaching credentials, and teaching resources.
Comprised of diverse physical activity and education professionals, AAPAR:
- Provides continuing education by sharing guidelines, credentials, standards of practice, research, ideas, information, successful strategies, and networking opportunities.
- Offers resources the public can use to get out, get moving, and get fit.
- Advocates for legislation that supports healthy, fit Americans, from preschoolers to seniors.
