What We Do
The Administration and Leadership Development Council (ALD) provides the resources, training, and information professionals need to promote leadership excellence in supervising, administering, and managing a broad range of physical activity and recreational programs and specialties. ALD promotes the continuous evaluation of current techniques and strategies, fosters a professional code of conduct and ethics, and helps to expand knowledge and theory of best professional practices that enhance quality of life for everyone throughout their lives.
Who We Serve
Professionals in physical activity and recreation at the K-12 through college/university level; physical educators; professionals in sport, health, dance, and sport medicine; amateur and professional sports organizations; profit and nonprofit groups who share AAPAR's mission and have a desire to develop an administration and leadership strategy.
