Council on Aging & Adult Development

What We Do

The Council on Aging & Adult Development (CAAD) is comprised of a network of professionals who share ideas and information, as well as further learning experiences as they relate to the benefits of physical activity in older adults. We are respected trainers, researchers, and practitioners in the field of exercise for older adults. CAAD members receive newsletters that pertain to issues and events in the world of exercise for older adults, in-service opportunities, and conventions, as well as product information and publications at discounted rates. Membership also offers the chance to connect with other related networks such as professionals who work with people with disabilities, develop assessment instruments, and design safe and healthful activity facilities and equipment.
