Honor Award

Recognizes an AAHPERD member who has made outstanding contributions toward advancing the understanding of both practical and theoretical endeavors among non-school and community settings in order to promote recreational opportunities for children, youth, and families.

Eligibility

  • Current member of AAPAR.
  • Made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the Children, Youth & Families Council and its mission.
  • Previous award recipients are not eligible, and posthumous awards are not granted.
