Honor Award
Recognizes a member who has made significant contributions to the SRM Council and its mission. Must be a current officer of AAPAR or an SRM member for at least 3 years. Previous award recipients are not eligible, and awards are not given posthumously.
Distinguished Service Award
Recognizes contributions to the profession and/or the Council by members or professionals and organizations outside the safety education profession who have made outstanding and significant contributions to safety education in any form, i.e., media development, legislation, creative arts, or funding. A commercial organization may only be considered for a unique contribution to the profession, which is over and above their normal realm of activity.
Distinguished Scholar Award
Recognizes members of the SRM Council who demonstrate professional and scientific accomplishments through research in the improvement of safety and risk management.
SRM Council Presidential Citation
Honors individuals and organizations who provide meritorious service or make outstanding contributions to the SRM Council or the safety profession, which results in improvement of the quality and/or quantity of programs in safety.
Charles Peter Yost Professional Service Award
Recognizes contributions to the profession and/or the SRM Council by members who have served the profession for at least ten years and have served the SRM Council as an officer, committee member, or in some other capacity.
