Council for Aquatic Professionals

What We Do

The Council for Aquatic Professionals (CAP) upholds professionalism in aquatics through the on-going refinement and updating of standards for aquatics professionals, aquatics programs, and emerging sub-disciplines such as aquatics facilities, sanitation codes, and water safety. CAP works to enhance professional ethics and excellence among aquatics teachers, specialists, administrators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. We develop leaders in the aquatics profession, support aquatics research, and promote aquatic safety and regulations for instruction as well as for facilities and sanitation.   Get involved!  Council Chair Angela Beale
