Profile: This years Professional Recognition Award goes to Dr. Diane Craft of State University of new York College at Cortland where she has served as a faculty member for the past 20 years. Diane has a long history of service to the APA profession and is very deserving of this award. Diane has served as Chairperson of the APAC council and during that time initiated our involvement in early childhood programs. In addition Diane has greatly contributed to the APA body of literature. She was the JOPERD feature editor for a issue on inclusion, she has been a guest co-editor for APAQ, and served as a department editor for PALAESTRA. Diane has been a contributor to several books and manuscripts. Diane has been a member of AAHPERD for almost 30 years and during that time she has unselfishly given of herself in service, has demonstrated true professional skill, and has been an excellent role model for current and future professionals in our field.
