CAP Has Much to Offer at the 2012 AAHPERD National Convention

• CAP Makes a Splash!
  Join CAP at this year's Water Safety Awareness Day, Saturday, March 17, 2012 during the AAHPERD National Convention in Boston. The goal is to align the nation's learn-to-swim providers in an effort to save lives. The event is sponsored by USA Swimming and New England Swimming. If you'd like to volunteer, email Angela Beale and or Andrew Murray.
  
• Novice Swimmers Clinic Offered
  Join CAP for a Coaching Clinic for Novice Swimmers, sponsored by USA Swimming. The clinic will take place on Thursday, March 15, during the AAHPERD National Convention in Boston. Learn the basic steps for creating a confident and competent swimmer. Reserve your spot now.

Congratulations to CAP member Shaun Anderson, co-founder of Diversity in Aquatics, which is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to decrease the rate of drowning worldwide. The organization helps create, promote, and support programs in the United States and abroad and also provides a forum for interaction, communication, and news to help promote diversity within the aquatic community and curve drowning disparities.Way to go Shaun!
