M&E Breakfast at 2012 Convention
The M&E Keynote and Awards breakfast meeting will be held at the AAHPERD National Convention & Exposition, Friday, March 16, 2012, in Boston, MA. A keynote presentation regarding the Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) project of NIH will be made during the breakfast meeting. We invite all M&E members to attend. The 12th M&E Symposium in Boston
The M&E Council is pleased to announce exciting news: The council will hold its 12th M&E Symposium, entitled "New Approaches in Measuring and Assessing Physical Activity" on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in Boston, MA. The one-day symposium will review the impact of measurement, explore the applications of new technologies such as mobile phone in physical activity assessment, introduce the use of GPS and activity monitor to assess free living behaviors, discuss the strengths and problems regarding physical activity assessment in large-scale epidemiological studies, and identify measurement issues related to sport injury epidemiology.
Call for M&E Council Award Nominations
The M&E Council seeks nominations for its two awards: the M&E Honor Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominations should be returned to by December 1. More information.
