Town Hall Meeting

AAPAR has begun merger negotiations with NASPE. Join us for a 30-minute Town Hall Meeting on the topic and let us know what you think. Following, AAPAR's Council Chairs will host their traditional planning meetings for Council leaders and members. This is where the future of AAPAR gets envisioned and designed. Come be a part of these important discussions!

AAPAR's General Session

Race car driver Lyn St. James delivers a fast-paced, entertaining, and inspiring keynote address at AAPAR's General Session. A recipient of NAGWS's Guiding Woman in Sport Award, Lyn knows how to break new ground—personally, professionally, and socially. She was the first woman to win Rookie of the Year at the Indy 500 and holds many other racing records. Lyn is Vice Chair of the Indiana Governor's Council on Fitness & Sport.

AAPAR Recognizing Outstanding Leaders Evening

Don't miss the new AAPAR Recognizing Outstanding Leaders Evening—and FREE awards event—where we debut AAPAR's new promo video, celebrate AAPAR leaders' achievements, and screen the award-winning videos from our premier Every Body Can! Adapted Physical Activity video contest. We'll recognize those who have served AAPAR over the years and present our most prestigious awards, including four new ones: Pathfinder, Ambassador, Jan Seaman National Recognition, and American Red Cross Lifesaver. Join us to honor your peers and view exciting and inspiring video clips. The first 150 attendees receive fun door prizes from Flaghouse!

Wheelchair Basketball Demonstrations

AAPAR and the American Association for Adapted Sports Programs host wheelchair basketball demonstrations. Watch some of the best in the sport play, then hop in a special court chair to learn some basic skills yourself. Find us in the activity area of the Convention Center on Wednesday at 12:45-2 and 4-5 p.m. PARticipate in the Hoops for Heart Free-throw Contest afterward!

Lucas Oil Stadium Tour

Join members of AAPAR's Facilities & Equipment Council on a private tour of the Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, for a behind-the-scenes, in-depth look at this fascinating football facility and its operations.
