Dr. Garth Tymeson is a full professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Prior to his current faculty position, Dr. Tymeson served as Associate Dean in the College of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.
Dr. Tymeson teaches several undergraduate and graduate adapted physical education teacher preparation courses each semester, and assists with implementation of the UW-La Crosse Motor Development Program for Children with Disabilities and the Center on Disability Health and Adapted Physical Activity. He is also active in the National Consortium on Physical Education for Individuals with Disabilities and serves as Co-chair of the Legislative Committee for the Consortium. Dr. Tymeson co-directs a federal adapted physical education teacher preparation grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education – Office of Special Education Programs.

Dr. Manny Felix has taught in the Physical Education Teacher Education program at UW La Crosse since 1994. He currently serves as the Coordinator of the Adapted Physical Education Undergraduate Teaching Minor and the Director of the UWL Center on Disability Health and Adapted Physical Activity. He completed a BS at University of California - Davis, MS in Adapted Physical Education at Northern Illinois University, and doctoral degree at Oregon State University.
