Change is in the air!

Recently AAHPERD's President shared a letter with all AAHPERD members that summarized some exciting discussions from September 2009 Board of Governors (BOG) meeting. A report on a new strategic vision for AAHPERD was proposed, and focused on positioning AAHPERD to become an even more dynamic, cost efficient, and highly productive organization in the 21st century. The proposed vision focused on a plan for unifying the Alliance into one national organization that would:

  • facilitate more efficient use of financial and staff resources,
  • reduce redundancy of effort in programming and governance
  • increase the impact and visibility of our work, and
  • focus on our strengths that will make us the "go to" organization!
