Mission Statement

The Midwest District Association of the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (MDAAHPERD), is an integral part of the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, dedicated to advancing the purposes of the Alliance within the geographical area of the District.

The Midwest District is an educational organization structured for the purpose of supporting, encouraging and providing services and products to member groups and their personnel throughout the District that seek to initiate, develop and conduct programs in health, leisure, sport, physical education and dance designed to promote the enrichment of human life.

It is the mission of MDAAHPERD to support, foster and promote the aims of AAHPERD while strengthening the state associations which comprise this District: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
