Northwest District Programs

The Northwest District offers programs and events sponsored by NWD and the national associations of AAHPERD. Northwest District:

• Holds the Northwest District Convention annually, which provides networking with professionals and students in the Northwest District states.
• Honors outstanding professionals and students through the Northwest District Awards program.
• Offers programming designed for student members, such as the NWD Student Leadership Conference.
• Participates in Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart, programs jointly sponsored by AAHPERD and the American Heart Association.  
• Has access to the AAHPERD advocacy agenda through the Legislative Action Center.
