On-Site Placement Applicant Instructions

Applicants are invited to review the posted job listings and submit an application and resume, which will be made available for review by employers.

Note: To save time on-site, the Applicant Interview Form is available online. Print a copy of the form, complete as much information as possible, and photocopy a stack of your completed form and resume to bring with you to the convention.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

There is no limit to the number of applications accepted for position vacancies. 

Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview.

1. Pick up Applicant Interview Forms at the on-site Placement Center (see NOTE above).
2. Review posted job listings.
3. Do not complete an Applicant Interview Form for job listing you wish to apply for marked “MAIL RESUMES ONLY”. For these listings, send your resume to the contact listed on the Employer Registration Form prior to the closing date.
4. For job listings marked “Interviewing At Placement”, complete an Applicant Interview Form for each job listing of interest to you. 
5. Keep a list of the job numbers for which you have submitted applications for review.
6. Proceed to the Placement Application Area. 
7. Your Applicant Interview Form(s) will be made available to employers.
8. Employers will review applications and contact qualified individuals to schedule an on-site interview. It is extremely important that a local phone number be included on your application form.
9. When employers cannot reach you by phone, they will leave messages for you at the “Placement Center Job File Table”. Please check periodically with the staff in this area to see if you have any messages. 
10. Once you have been contacted for an interview, arrive at the ““Interview Area” of the Placement Center a few minutes prior to your appointment.
