AAHPERD Student Member Services

More than 4,000 future professionals are members of AAHPERD. We are pleased to provide our student members with professional development opportunities and resources that will help them succeed as students and prepare them for their future positions. Our site will keep you current with information and services that are available for you from AAHPERD.

If you are interested in serving as a student delegate in Boston, please complete an application form. Applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2012.

UpdatePLUS, AAHPERD's member newsletter, has a student column with student news and information.
AAHPERD student members have access to vital career services through CareerLink, AAHPERD's online career center, and at the convention's placement center.
AAHPERD's national associations offer specialized information for students. View NASPE's here.
Student members may participate in the Undergraduate Student Leadership Forum, the Graduate Student Forum at the AAHPERD National Convention & Exposition, and District Student Leadership Conferences.
The annual national convention offers a host of programs tailored to students. The annual SuperStars Competition is a popular event for students who attend the national convention.
There are lots of state association conferences and discipline-based meetings listed in the AAHPERD Event Calendar.
AAHPERD student members are eligible for scholarships and awards that are offered by the district and national associations. Check the association Web sites for more information.
