The National Girls and Women in Sports Day activities will be conducted before the Nevada women's basketball team takes on Fresno State at Lawlor Events Center Saturday, January 29.
The showdown will be important for both teams as they fight for conference supremacy. Nevada is currently 13-3 (2-1 WAC), while Fresno State is 11-5 (2-0 WAC). The Bulldogs are also riding a 19-game conference winning streak.
Free events, including sports clinics conducted by Nevada student-athletes and interactive booths hosted by community organizations, will begin at 11 am. |
