Colorado State University-Pueblo and Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County will host a National Girls and Women in Sports Day at the Recreation Center at CSU-Pueblo on Friday, January 28 from 3-6 p.m. Participants will also attend the women’s basketball game that evening at 6 p.m. versus New Mexico Highlands University.
This event will recognize the achievements of girls and women in sports and to encourage all females of Pueblo to participate in sports and fitness activities. Attendees will have an opportunity to explore volleyball, soccer, softball, and cheer/dance. The event is open to girls in the 8th grade and below and the first 250 registrants will receive free admission to the event, the basketball games and a pre-game meal. |
