On February 1, 2012, Richmond Heights Middle School, located at 15015 S.W. 103 Avenue Miami, Florida, under the direction of Ms. Kristal B. Hickmon will be celebrating the 26th annual National Girls and Women in Sports day. This will be a day to recognize and celebrate women who have excelled in sports and athletics. It is also an opportunity to bring about awareness of the positive influences that sports and fitness made in our society. female athletes from Local colleges and universities have been invited to come out and guest speak and to host several mini sport clinics. Our event will begin at 12 noon and end at 4PM. It will target approximately 300 girls, from the ages of 9 years to 15 years of age (4th - 8th grade). |
