National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be held at UNC Asheville on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. This is a community event designed to expose women and girls to a variety of activities that will inspire them to lead active, healthy lives. This year’s event is open to women and girls (ages 6 and up) as a chance to try a new sport or fitness class, or build skills in a sport of interest. This includes four clinics, t-shirt and goody bag, healthy lunch, door prizes, and a ticket to the Bulldogs basketball game at UNC-Asheville that day. |
