The day's activities will begin with a cookie sales by the Girl Scouts in the Tripp Center lobby at 12:30 p.m. At the same time, there will be a National Girls and Women in Sports Day poster contest in the lobby, sponsored by the Boys' and Girls' Club of Fall River.
At halftime of the women's basketball game, all of the female student-athletes at UMass Dartmouth will walk onto the court at the Tripp Athletic Center, and will be recognized. Then the Case Junior High School women's basketball team will take the court for a five-minute, running time scrimmage. Following the scrimmage, there will be a Domino's Pizza promotion before the second half begins. |
