Mercyhurst will hold its second annual Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration on Saturday, Feb. 2. All K-8 girls will receive free admission to the event, which begins with interactive stations hosted by the women’s sports teams at 11:30 a.m. Girls can also view a basketball game and be eligible for random giveaways, all donated by the women’s teams.
The Lakers will host California (PA) for a 1 p.m. tip off. The girls attending will be able to experience the sport for themselves, participating in activities designed by each team, and the chance to meet and greet members of the Laker women's teams. |
