Boston University athletics will recognize National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on Saturday, Feb. 2 during the women's ice hockey and basketball games. To commemorate NGWSD, BU will be giving away bracelets at women's athletic events throughout the month of February beginning this Saturday.
The scarlet bracelets to be distributed are inscribed with the words "Athlete" on one side and "Worth The Investment" on the other, in recognition of the NGWSD program. PA announcements about NGWSD will also be made during the games. |
