A banquet honoring our female athletes with a speaker who is presented with the Women in Sports Achievement Award. This year our speaker is Annika Sorenstam-which we are extremely excited about. We also honor an outstanding female student-athlete with the Elaine Evans Spirit of Saint Leo Award. Elaine Evans was a women's basketball player who passed away suddenly during her freshman year here on our campus. We also award a scholarship from a sponsor to one female from each sport for a total of 8 scholarships. |
