Heart Stories

Hayden, Age 10

Hayden was born with transposition of the great arteries and VSD. He had multiple heart surgeries that lead to a repair. He's now a healthy, active 10 year old who takes great pride in participating in JRFH so that he can raise money to help other children!

2017 JRFH/HFH Grantees

These grantees are JRFH and HFH coordinators who have been instrumental in bringing the programs to their school and driving the mission of heart health to the staff, students, and the communities in which they live.

Austin, Age 7

Austin was born with a larger heart that beats much faster than normal. Doctors were able to repair the valve in his heart and make it a normal size, thanks to the life-saving research funded by the JRFH and HFH programs.
