AAHPERD JRFH & HFH Recognition Awards

Each year AAHPERD selects two Jump Rope For Heart coordinators and one Hoops For Heart coordinator to receive the prestigious AAHPERD JRFH or HFH Recognition Award. Award winners exemplify leadership in the Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart programs at the state, district or national level. The recipients will receive a stipend for their convention travel expenses. Eligible coordinators who are current AAHPERD members of at least two years may apply or be nominated by any individual. These individuals are recognized at the AAHPERD National Convention Awards Ceremony where they are honored in front of their peers for their dedication and commitment to the Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart programs.

Yes. These awards are open to all Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart event coordinators who are currently members of AAHPERD and have been members for at least two consecutive years.

How many years do I need as a Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart coordinator in order to apply?

A minimum of three consecutive years as a Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart event coordinator is required.

When is the application due?
