JumpFit: Jump Rope for Fitness and Conditioning
This session will help equip JRFH/HFH coordinators with new ideas to encourage older students to participate by presenting event ideas that are more "fitness" oriented. Incorporate rope skipping into your intermediate/senior PE classes through conditioning exercises, sports directed skills and combinations. Rope skipping is an effective tool to build agility, strength, quickness, speed, coordination, endurance and balance. Modifications to low impact/no rope movements will also be explained to allow for greater inclusion.
