Here's a great opportunity to educate parents about the importance of increasing physical activity in their children's lives. Encourage their involvement in Let's Move in School!  Here are some easy ways to increase their participation in a comprehensive school physical activity program:

• Share with your PTA/PTO school leaders the new Let's Move in School – PTA/PTO Online Toolkit.
   
• Conduct a presentation about a comprehensive school physical activity program at a PTA/PTO meeting. There are three different presentations:

    - Elementary School

    - Middle School

    - High School

• Educate parents about the differences between physical education and physical activity - find valuable information here.

• Invite Parents to participate in a physical education class at your school.

• Guide Parent Observation with NASPE's School Physical Education Program Checklist.

• Check out these physical activity break ideas.
