Professional Development

Whether you are just entering the profession or have been in the profession for a while, taking advantage of professional development opportunities is a good strategy to advance your career.

Professional development opportunities may be offered through NAGWS or AAHPERD or by a host of other organizations.  Check here to find out what's coming up, where you can get contact hours, and how you can become more involved in workshops, conferences and trainings.

Don't forget the AAHPERD National Convention...it's a perfect way to learn more about topics you are interested in, network with peers and enjoy the company of others who are interested in sport and physical education, especially for girls and women!  Plan on attending 2010 National Convention in Indy in March.
