$15,000 Grand Awarded for Nell Jackson Theatre Project

The Michigan Humanities Council announces the Plowshares Theatre Company (Lathrup Village) will receive a grant of $15,000 to help support a theatre production, titled The Invisible Seasons Theatre Project, which will portray the challenges facing Nell Jackson and the 1979 Michigan State University (MSU) women’s basketball team through the team’s struggle for equal protection under the U.S. Constitution and Title IX.
