Books and Products

For decades NAGWS has provided teachers, coaches and educators with a wide selection of books and products on a variety of topics related to girls and women in sport – history of women's sports, gender equity, social justice issues, sport skills and more.

Today NAGWS offers a selection of books and products through the AAHPERD Online Store.  Title IX: Implications for Women in Sport and Education is the newest NAGWS product.  This 3-disc DVD set is essential for teachers, historians and students of gender equity.

Teachers will find NAGWS' academic publications to be invaluable for their classes in sport management, psychology of sport and many more.  Recent publications include The Hidden Faces of Eating Disorder and Body Image, Women as Leaders in Sport: Impact and Influence, or Ensuring the Health of Active and Athletic Girls and Women.
