Olympian Hilary Knight, NAGWS Clinic HUGE Success

On Sunday, December 16th, Idaho Ice World in Boise welcomed two-time Olympian Hilary Knight for a women's hockey clinic!  Hilary's visit to Boise was sponsored by NAGWS and Mila, a nutritional supplement high in Omega 3's. Thirty-five girls and women from all over the state of Idaho attended the clinic and spent an hour on the ice with Hilary. The clinic covered backwards and forwards skating, edgework, transitions, puck handling, passing, and a game called knockout--where the goal is to be the last woman controlling your puck while others are trying to knock your puck out of the neutral zone.  Hilary delivered the clinic with a ton of enthusiasm, a great sense of humor and humility, and some amazing tips that improved our skills significantly. The state of Idaho and the City of Boise loved having her here for the clinic. Her willingness to give back to the sport by visiting Boise and delivering a top notch clinic were much appreciated.
