Need your feedback on future PE2020 initiatives

1. Proposed PE2020 Initiatives 

This folder contains a series of recommended initiatives compiled by members of the PE2020 Planning Committee based on the visionary essays posted on the PE2020 web site and feedback shared by participants at the one-day PE2020 Forum at the AAHPERD National Convention & Exposition in San Diego. The PE2020 Planning Committee will submit final recommendations to the NASPE Board. Deadline for your feedback is June 30th, 2011.

2. San Diego Forum Feedback & Suggestions

This folder contains all of the feedback shared on index cards and posters by the more than 250 participants at the PE2020 Forum in San Diego. As you think about and plan for the future of physical education you may be interested to read the ideas of your colleagues.

3. San Diego Forum Presentation Notes & Materials 

This folder contains the Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and links to movies that were shown at the PE2020 Forum in San Diego, March 29th, 2011. You are welcome to download any of these materials, modify them as you wish, and share them with others. The more we can all do to generate discussion about the future of physical education, the brighter that future will likely be.

The most important action we are requesting at this time is for you to read and comment on the proposed PE2020 initiatives. You can post your thoughts directly on the web site. June 30th is the deadline for comment. The PE2020 Planning Committee will then do its best to finalize the initiatives and get them to the NASPE Board in time for its August meeting.
