PEP Grants are funded for FY2011!

The Department of Education posted the final budget allocations for programs within its jurisdiction. PEP will receive $78,842,000 for 2011 grantees! They will fund continuation grants first then new applications will be ranked and funded with what is left. The Department of Education is hoping to fund 70 new grants and to make all awards by September 30 of this year.

The Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) provides grants to local educational agencies, school districts and community-based organizations to initiate, expand, or enhance physical education programs that help students in Kindergarten through 12th grade meet their state standards for physical education.
