How do I submit my students' essays.
PE2020 is a great interdisciplinary activity idea.
To turn PE2020 into an in-class assignment, simply have your students' parents sign the PE2020 parental consent form.
Once you have obtained parents' permission, students can submit their essays online and select "I have read and agree to the terms of the PE2020 submission agreement." Since their parents have already signed the permission forms, it is okay if the students click this link.
Please send original signed permission slips to NASPE at the address on the form.
Can I submit more than one essay?
Yes. You may submit as many essays as you would like.
Essays should be no longer than 500 words (shorter is fine!)

I am under 18 can I submit an essay?
No, you must be over the age of 18 to submit an essay. If you are under the age of 18 your parents must sign the submission agreement and submit the essay on your behalf. Parents/Guardians, please note that your name should be the name on the submission and will show on website; however, please mark "K-12 student" under classification and "Under 18" for age so that we know you are submitting on behalf of a minor.
How do I know you received my essays?
When you successfully submit an essay through our web site, you will see an on-screen message that says the essay was received. You will also see information about the review process. Most essays should appear on the site within 2 business days.
May I make copies of essays to use in my classroom?
NASPE generally grants permission for copies to be used in classrooms as long as the text is being used in a single classroom and a fee is not being charged for the materials. If you wish to make copies of essays beyond these terms, please feel free to submit a reprint permission request with the details of your request.
Am I allowed to print and use the lesson plans?
Yes. Please download and use these lessons in your classroom.
