How do I submit my students' essays.

PE2020 is a great interdisciplinary activity idea.

  1.  Have your students write an essay (500 words or less) that answers the question "What does the future of physical education look like in the year 2020 and beyond?"

  2. Ask your students to take their essays home and have their parents submit their essay online at www.PE2020.org. Note: Parents should choose "classroom submission" as their entry type and complete the school information requested (school name, address and email contact). Also, parents should indicate the essay is from a K-12 student but use their own name and address for the contact information on the submission form.

To turn PE2020 into an in-class assignment, simply have your students' parents sign the PE2020 parental consent form.

Once you have obtained parents' permission, students can submit their essays online and select "I have read and agree to the terms of the PE2020 submission agreement." Since their parents have already signed the permission forms, it is okay if the students click this link.

Please send original signed permission slips to NASPE at the address on the form.
