| Submission Entry: | I am working towards all students receiving daily PE for thirty minutes. The PE curriculum would be taught by a certified PE teacher and would include fitness testing, sport education, character education, social learning and health education. The PE teacher would have regular communication with the administration and the community about how quality daily PE is benefiting their students by increasing learning in the general classroom and decreasing discipline issues throughout the building. This is the vision that I have for what elementary PE will look like in the future. |
