| Submission Entry: | The year 2020 will come with many outcomes, some of those will be in the program of P.E. in the year 2010 it is almost completely useless. There are certain things that could change to make it better and make kids slimmer like the state wants. It would also be better to make the P.E. education more fun. Three main factors are: obesity, the fact that high school kids do not care for P.E. besides an easy A, and dieting. The first factor is the harder teachers push for obesity kids to work out in P.E. the less they want to do it. I bet most of the kids think their body is just fine. I think P.E. would work out better if kids were divided into separate classes based on their weight and what their bodies are capable of doing. It is not fair to make them push to do things their bodies can’t handle. If you slowly progressed the obese kids then they would become slimmer within the school year. The already slim kids would be able to push themselves and become fitter also. The second factor is how little teenagers care about P.E. if the state could give this program more money to make it entertaining more kids would become active in physical education. Since in 2020 the technology will be furthered there will probably be some type of new dance game or a simulator to put you next to ninjas and you have to fight them. If there was some type of game of that sort and we had that in P.E. every high school student would want to play and be active. Even if we played capture the flag more, flag football, or basketball kids would be more active. I think smaller P.E. classes would help so the teachers could keep a more watchful eye on students and what they are doing. The third factor is about dieting. If we could serve the lunch during P.E. and make it a healthy meal then the program would go over faster and help people lose weight. When this happened it would decrease the levels of health problems in teenagers. All the diabetes and the heart problems could be solved by this new diet and new workouts as well as new games. The more people get interested in this new way of doing P.E. the faster progress will be shown in the weight, especially if we get on board as soon as possible. If we try hard enough maybe this event will happen before the year of 2010. Hopefully after this P.E. program has been going on for 10 years or so everyone in the United States is skinner and fitter. It is possible that we could become the skinniest country in the world. All it takes is dedication and hard work from everyone in the world. In the end it all comes down to how it is handled by the parents to help support this new P.E. program. |
