SPEAK Out! Day Itinerary

Wednesday, April 14 - Preparation Session             MANDATORY!

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm – "Advocacy 101", Westin Washington Dulles Hotel

Learn the basics about advocating on the federal level; get briefed on NASPE's top legislative "asks"; and receive a folder that will include background information on NASPE, our legislative issues, leave-behinds, getting around on Capitol Hill, and communicating with Congress.

Dinner: On your own

Thursday, April 15 – SPEAK Out! Day

8:30 am   Travel to Capitol Hill via charter bus

10:00 am – 3:00 pm  Meetings on Capitol Hill

Lunch vouchers for the Union Station food court will be provided to all participants

3:30 pm   Bus departs for return trip to Westin Hotel (will stop at Dulles Airport prior to reaching the Westin).
