MOY Award Criteria

Please review the award criteria before nominating your student major.

Award Criteria

  1. Current NASPE member (nominees who are not yet NASPE members, may still be nominated, as long as a membership form is submitted within one month of nomination)
  2. Student should be on track towards a degree in one of the following: Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sport Management, Exercise Science, Fitness/Wellness, Athletic Training, or a closely related area. (Please note that Health, Dance, and Recreation majors are recognized by other associations in the Alliance)
  3. Junior or Senior standing
  4. GPA of 3.0 or higher, on a 4.0 scale
  5. Service to school or community (3-5 contributions) for a minimum of two years during undergraduate career

Form Submission

Please complete the entire online submission form. Extension: Nomination due by February 15 (11:59 pm ET)

Form must be completed by an advisor/nominator. Students may not nominate themselves.

Faculty advisors may only nominate one student per major per college/university
