PrintTeacher of the Year Program
The National Association for Sport and Physical Education is proud to honor exemplary elementary, middle, and high school physical education teachers from across the country through the NASPE Teacher of the Year Program. NASPE is pleased to recognize Sportime as exclusive sponsor of the program since 1989.
The Teacher of the Year Program is a three-tiered program. All state AHPERDs are invited to select a State Teacher of the Year from each school level to compete for District Teacher of the Year honors in the six AAHPERD districts. Subsequently, each of the six districts are invited to select a District Teacher of the Year from each school level to compete for National Teacher of the Year recognition for elementary, middle, and high school levels.
