NCACE Comprehensive Plus Accreditation adds a portability component for each domain to the comprehensive accreditation. Portability allows for a particular curricular model to be considered self-contained and can be in-sourced or out-sourced among coaching education programs. For each portable domain contained within a comprehensive plus program, the curricular model (CM) must outline the full scope of the coaching education program that is necessary for coverage of all standards within a single domain. In this instance, there may be several portable curricular models while also meeting the requirements for a comprehensive program.
Below is the fee structure for comprehensive and comprehensive plus accreditation. You will notice that NCACE offers a discounted rate for those organizations that seek comprehensive program accreditation with the option for portability in one or more domains. In addition, there is a fee differential for non-profit and for-profit providers. All organizations are required to submit an IRS tax status along with their portfolio submission to qualify in either category.

All programs seeking approval must join NCACE as an organizational member and maintain an active organizational membership for the duration of their approved status. Should an accredited program allow their membership to lapse, they will no longer be deemed an accredited organization.
Programs that achieve accredited status will be recognized as such for a period of seven years, to begin at the time of approval. All programs must submit changes in curriculum, resources, and faculty/trainers to NCACE to ensure that the program continues to meet the criteria of an accredited program. Should a program no longer maintain the integrity of the program and meet the requirements outlined in the Guidelines for Accreditation of Coaching Education or the National Standards for Sport Coaches, the program will no longer be deemed an accredited organization.

All programs that satisfactorily meet the NCACE Guidelines for Accreditation of Coaching Education will be deemed an accredited program. NCACE will provide language to those programs that achieve portability requirements in addition to their comprehensive accreditation and will promote these programs to organizations seeking coaching education resources.
