Workshops

The following workshops are held annually at the AAHPERD National Convention:

  • NASPE/NCATE Initial PETE Standards Orientation and Program Report Preparation Workshop
  • NASPE/NCATE Advanced PETE Standards Orientation and Program Report Preparation Workshop
  • Assessment and Rubric Development Workshop
  • NASPE/NCATE Reviewer Training (Initial and Advanced)
All workshops require pre-registration so that adequate materials can be prepared.
 
  • The NASPE/NCATE Initial PETE Standards Orientation and Program Report Preparation Workshop and the NASPE/NCATE Advanced PETE Standards Orientation and Program Report Preparation Workshop will be held on Monday from noon until 5:00 p.m. 
    This workshop is a pre-requisite for the Reviewer Training.  Anyone who registers for Reviewer Training must also register for and attend the Monday workshop. 
  • The Assessment and Rubric Development Workshop will be held on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • The NASPE/NCATE Reviewer Training will be held on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Attendees must pre-register and must also attend the Monday Standards Orientation workshop.
