Physical Education Teacher Preparation NASPE/NCATE

NASPE, in cooperation with NCATE (National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education), provides program review for college and university physical education teacher education. NASPE reviews program reports; gives feedback to programs related to their assessment data and evidence of candidate success; grants program national recognition for meeting all of the national standards; and notifies NCATE of the program's status related to the standards.
