2001 Standards (Archived)

- 2001 Advanced Standards in Physical Education Teacher Education
No new program reports using the 2001 standards will be accepted after Spring 2010 (March submission dates). After that date, a program may submit a report using the 2001 standards only if it is responding to a "conditional" decision, a "not recognized" decision, or "probation" decision related to the 2001 standards.
Accreditation
The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) is an outstanding resource for PETE programs, College of Education units and reviewers. Use the many resources on this site to remain current with accreditation and national recognition requirements.
