NASPE will bring workshops to State and District AAHPERD's upon request to provide training for any combination of the topics above. Additionally, NASPE will provide these workshops on your campus for your faculty or for a group of nearby universities that come together to share the expenses and provide faculty professional development. These workshops can be ½ day or full day.
Reviewer Training
A full day workshop on Reviewer Training is also available. It is highly recommended that every PETE program have at least one faculty member who has attended Reviewer Training and serves as an active reviewer. The benefits include a first-hand knowledge of what reviewers look for when they review and write the recognition report. It is also an outstanding service to the profession to become a part of the "team" that "maintains the standard" for quality physical education teacher education.
