Established in 1997, before the Arizona Diamondbacks ever played a Major League game, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation focuses on the three areas of need: homelessness, indigent healthcare and youth education programs of all types. Since its inception, the D-backs Foundation has donated more than $14.5 million statewide. Grant programs include the Grand Slam Award, Program Grants, Diamond Back Field Building Program, and the Play Ball Scholarship Fund.
