The goal of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation's Preschool for California's Children program is to secure high-quality preschool opportunities for all three- and four-year-olds in the state by expanding and strengthening statewide advocacy efforts and engaging a diverse cross-section of groups in support of preschool (including the business sector, organized labor, communities of color, and K-12 and early educators). Grant proposals must be for charitable, educational, or scientific purposes, primarily from tax-exempt, charitable organizations. Proposals for district or city-wide projects preferred. After School grants are also awarded, though letters of inquiry for After School programs are not currently being accepted. |
