The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky has the capacity to make funds available to nonprofit organizations or coalitions for the conduct of conferences, seminars or symposia that are aligned with its mission and focus areas. Focus areas include support for health education and promotion, with an aim to improve nutrition and fitness for children and families and prevent youth smoking and substance abuse. In 2011 each such grant may not exceed $5,000. The deadline for receipt of proposals is ongoing. |
