The BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Health Foundation is awarding grants that improve health, public education, and economic development. The Foundation is seeking to fund projects that are solution-oriented and can be closely tracked with quantitative impact in the state of Tennessee. The specific funding focus areas are: children's health, infant mortality, and childhood obesity; patient safety and quality improvement; and the uninsured. Applicants must be nondiscriminatory, serve communities within Tennessee, and be a 501 (c)(3) qualified public charity. Letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time, and invited proposals are reviewed three times per year in May, January, and December. |
